
Michael Bullock has spent his career assisting clients navigate complex insurance-related disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as before administrative tribunals. Prior to co-founding Brown & Bullock, Michael was a partner in the insurance law division of a prominent Maryland firm, counseling a variety of individuals, businesses and professionals in high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters. In every case Michael handles, he brings the same passion and unrivaled attention to detail that clients have come to know and expect.
Michael has successfully represented insurance companies, insurance professionals – including insurance producers and public adjusters – and residential and commercial insureds in all stages of the dispute resolution process, from pre-suit through appeals. Michael defends insurers and insurance professionals in sprawling market conduct investigations, as well as in targeted business practice investigations. Michael also assists policyholders to evaluate complex coverage issues. Michael has substantial experience assisting insurance producers and licensees in regulatory investigations and administrative actions. Michael also advises insurance professionals on best practices to reduce regulatory exposure.
A lifelong Maryland resident, Michael is a 2010 graduate of Loyola Blakefield High School. Michael graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland with departmental honors in English in 2014 and received his law degree from the University of Baltimore in 2017. Prior to entering private practice, Michael clerked for the Honorable Andrea Leahy on the Appellate Court of Maryland.
